What is meant by team climate?
Team climate refers to the way in which team members perceive their work environment, including their purpose, goals, and behaviors of others.
Unlike team culture, which is often impacted by personal values, team climate can be controlled more easily by leaders, and influenced by processes and structure. Things like a clear process for setting and reviewing goals, consistency of communication, a process for giving recognition etc all have a positive impact on team climate.
